Lauriane Gilliron is a Swiss actress, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Switzerland 2005 on September 21, 2005 and represented Switzerland at Miss Universe 2006 and placed 2nd RunnerUp.

She was born in Lausanne and grew up in the village of Prilly where her father is mayor. Lauriane has been a vegetarian since the age of 7, and is the eldest of four children. She speaks French as well as some German, some Italian and some English.
